Twenty-one-year-old director COLEMAN RAY CLARK is a New York-based director. Most recently, Clark directed Punk Rock by Simon Stephens with Student Theatre at Marymount. Other directing credits include: Kiss Me, Kate (The Arts Center of the Ozarks); The Nina Variations by Steven Dietz (The Bridge Production Group); Stop Kiss by Diana Son (The Hatchery); Into The Woods, Moon Over Buffalo by Ken Ludwig, Completely Hollywood: Abridged, Charade, and The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less (New Threshold Theatre); The 39 Steps (Trike Theatre). Assistant directing credits include: The 24 Hour Plays On Broadway (Broadway) with director Mark Brokaw, His Eye Is On the Sparrow (Portland Center Stage) with director Timothy Douglas, and Superior Donuts (TheatreSquared) with director Sean Patrick Reilly.
His work continues in the office at The 24 Hour Plays where he is the Office Administrator to Executive Director Mark Armstrong. Clark is a Stage Directors and Choreographers Society Associate Member and alumni of the SDC Foundation intern program. While attending high school in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Clark founded New Threshold Theatre that he ran for three seasons. Currently, Coleman is studying to receive a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Directing at Marymount Manhattan College.
